A beautiful view when sitting inside or out.
Place your order when you first walk in, because there is no table service. Sit down or go to the bar and order one of their famous Bloody Marys.
I ordered the fried clams and I loved the light batter on them. My significant other said the fish and chips were delicious.
My friends claim the seafood platter is the best. The scallops were tender and sweet.
Whatever you decide, remember they close for the season the day after Columbus Day. -

Excellent food and view!
Stopped here on our way to Provincetown on a recommendation from a local friend.
Bonus we got to see a nice Outerlimits coming in the harbor.
Would definitely come back! -

Good food. Great location.
Mind blown that so many dishes are served in to go style plastic containers.
Understand they can't have a septic/wash dishes due to location, but the amount of landfill space this one restaurant is taking up with it's plastic(as oppose to some recycled paper option) is irresponsible and verging on disgusting.
There are many disposable, compostable, environmentally responsible options.
Get with it. -

We try and come to Cape Cod every year and when we do, Baxter's Boathouse is always in our list of go to Places. It's sits on Lewis Bay in Hyannis. There are tables outside that you can watch the ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard go by. The view is fantastic.
I always get the same, fried clams as they are the best on the Cape. You can order many seafood dishes, fried, baked or broiled. Soups, chowders, salads and sandwiches. All good. Delicious drinks, beer and wines . This place is a hot spot so come early. No reservations are taken. I've heard the Kennedys have been known to pop in on occasion. -

Still paying for it today.
Our Cape vacations are when we unleash the foodie in us and try chowder everywhere and different dishes when we can. First night out, decided to keep it simple with chowder, fish and clams but looking for a view.
Takeout from SS and heading to the beach would have been better.
Over priced but catering really to pretentious boaters coming for cocktails who along with the staff had no problem cutting us off walking around in the joint and standing in front of our "view" once we settled at a table. My hubby got side glances when he order St Pauli's. Way to treat the responsible customer.
we had 2 " bowls" of potato soup ( clam chowder) ($10) each and shared a fish plate-highlight as it was very fresh($18) and clam plate which had a clam strip amongst the whole bellies that was a better tasting than the whole belly clams that were rubbery ($29).
Plate means handful of cold French fries.
Understanding sometimes food can be a hit or miss, the result was painful shortly after.
$67 and a night of being sick I can't get back.
